Christmas Morning

Christmas morning with 9 kids is absolute chaos...but so much fun! The kids were so excited. It was magical.

 

SOCCER

 Coleson is really enjoying playing soccer. His coach is very nice, laid back, and creates a positive environment for the kids. The team is actually pretty good and every goal is such a confidence booster for them.

Beekeeping Part 5 {Hive Check}

 It's been a while since we posted about the bees, because, well, there wasn't much to tell. The great thing about the bees is they just do their own thing and the beekeeper needs to just leave them alone. In the last few weeks we took my nephew Jacob to check out the hives and my family. It's always good to see the hives progressing and doing well.

 

 

In this close up you can see the honey in progress on the bottom left, and the white area is honey that has been completed and capped with wax

 

The other hive went rogue and built out their own wax and honey in the small area Brian left open for their sugar water feeder. (That's supplemental sugar water that we give them at the beginning of the season to help them get started on their honey production until the flowers bloom.) See, bees just do their own thing!

Cousin's Party--Fromm Family {mini-reunion}

The last part of the mini-Fromm family reunion was a sunday evening get together with cousins and extended family. It was so fun and such a beautiful day. Of course, there was delicous food and lots of laughter, singing, kids running and playing. I've often heard horror stories of horrible in-laws and crazy extended families and I have to say, I think I lucked out and married into a pretty awesome family.

Took a break from unpacking to snap a few photos of my friends new baby...so sweet! Now I need to hurry up and get my computer set up so I can edit them all!

Final Walk Through

We had the final walk through of our house on Tuesday. Everything looked great! There were just a few paint touch ups and things that needed to be taken care of. We were hoping we could close on Friday, but that has come and gone, so now we are hoping for Monday! Cross your fingers for us!

My son is 6 years old! Where has the time gone?!

Buggy is 3 months old!

I can't believe our baby Belle is 3 months old! In the last few weeks she has transformed into a smile machine who laughs when you play patty-cake. She drools a ton and loves her play mat. We just love our buggy!

Happy New Year!

We had a fun New Year's Eve as a family at the planetarium and an early dinner at Olive Garden. The kids were in bed by 7 pm. Brian and I watched tv and got things ready for church the next day until midnight when we watched the ball drop. Then we went to bed. It was a great day even though it was pretty boring by most standards. I woke up in the middle of the night puking. Apparently I got the 24 hour bug again! I'm better now and ready to start the new year!
