Zion's Part 2

For those who didn't already know, Brian won this trip from his old company just before he left. It turned out to be a great parting gift! It was 2 days, 2 nights, food, and activities included. Here are the rest of the pictures from the trip.
Brian and I stared out our morning by taking a horseback ride. I rode Pepsi and Brian rode Blaze. Our horses liked to hang back and then run to catch up to the rest of the line. It made things more fun for us too!

A cute male bonding moment...

Mandi and I all geared up for the zip-line!

I have a hard time jumping off the platform, but once I get past that it's all fun!

Brian and I at the top of the ATV trail. It was a gorgeous view of Zion's National Park!

Woohoo! ATV's!

Tom, Brian and I all dirty after the ride...Notice the line of dirt on Brian's face!

Brian, Mandi, and Tom went shooting. I opted to sit that one out because gun's scare me.

We drove through Zion's on the way out. It was a beautiful day to see how gorgeous and amazing nature can be!
If you're wondering where Coleson was this day, we just took turns watching him. He enjoyed the petting zoo, naps, and the park while we did our different activities. The food at this place was awesome too! We had steaks, prime rib, salmon, trout and of course cake. There was a pool, hot tub, pool tables, horse shoes, etc. It was a great weekend getaway!

Zion's Part 1

Brian, Coleson, Mandi, Tom and I went down to Zion Ponderosa Ranch and Resort for the weekend. It was a long drive (about 4 hours) but it was worth it!

Yes, those are queen size bunk beds!!!!

We got there on Friday. After checking in, moving our stuff into our cabin and walking around a bit, we let Coleson go on a "Pony Ride". Actually he just got to ride around with the wrangler. He wasn't sure what to do at first, but by the end he thought it was pretty cool. Plus, the wrangler was the epitome of a cowboy...wrinkly suntanned skin, cigarette in his mouth half the time, etc. He was fun to chat and ride with!

There was a petting zoo which Coleson loved!

I thought it was pretty cool too!

Brian caught a lizard...the only thing he wanted to make sure he did while we were there!

Zion's is gorgeous! I took so many pictures. This is one of my favorites.
