Valentine Weekend 2016

Since the Valentine holiday falls on a Sunday this year, we had a whole weekend of celebrations! It started on Thursday with a donut date at school with Coleson, then running over to preschool to help with Annabelle's party.

Friday Brian and I met for lunch and the older kids had their parties at school.

Saturday night Brian and I went to an "Ugly Prom" party at a neighbors house. It was fun to play games and dance with our friends while reveling in the ugliness of our DI dress finds. Brian wore his tux from his high school show choir! It still fits  perfectly!

Sunday, after church we exchanged small gifts. Brian and Coleson were in charge of food all day. They made pancakes and sausage for brunch. Then, pork chops with mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, and asparagus for dinner. We went to the Stake Temple Week fireside on family history. Then topped it all off with a dessert made of homemade ice cream and brownies inside a white chocolate shell. Then chocolate sauce was poured over top to start melting the shell...it was Ah-mazingly delicious!
