Seattle Vacation: Grandpa and Downtown Seattle

I couldn't visit Seattle without taking a trip downtown! Beecher's  tomato soup at Pike Place Market is sooooo good!!! We also visited my dad's office and went on the Great Wheel! It took a good 20 minutes and a lot of tears to even get Coleson in line for it!!!! But, once he was on he realized how cool it was and wasn't scared anymore. We also got to see Grandpa play baseball and Brian got to play too. 

Seattle Vacation: Jetty Island

 

Jetty Island is just my favorite. I love spending time in the water,

watching kids catch crabs and little fish or dig for clams!

 

 

Seattle Vacation: Woodland Park Zoo & The Freemont Troll

 

We spent one day at the Woodland Park Zoo. It was a pretty cool zoo that kept everyone very entertained. We all loved the aviary section the best though.

 

Since we were near the Troll we stopped to let the kids take a quick peek at him!

We were all exhausted from walking in the heat all day so Liv pushed me in the stroller for a bit...best part of the day!

 This cute gorilla smiled at Brian!

The kids made paper out of elephant poop...Seattle has officially crossed the line with the whole reduce, reuse, recycle thing!

Seattle Vacation: Date Night

 

Brian surprised me with a date night where we took a Segway tour around West Seattle. It was a beautiful day and a great way to take in the sites. We stopped at Duke's Chowder House for dinner and it was soooooo delicious!
