Annabelle doesn't quite understand what "birthday" means but she sure knew that it was her special day and loved the attention. Here are a few photos of her opening presents:
Annabelle is such a character. You can tell how she feels by the look on her face, but it can change in an instant. She is so sweet and loving, but also very fiery and independent. She will wag her finger at you as she babbles her disapproval if needed. She loves giving kisses, talking {babbling} on the phone {whatever she holds to her ear and talks into}, reading books (she has to have a book and her blanket when I put her down for a nap or bed), making people laugh and singing. (She can't say the words but she can sing on tune! Radioactive by Imagine Dragons and Wheels on the Bus are her current favs.) Her vocabulary is increasing each day. Since putting together the trampoline yesterday she has started saying "jump!"
This morning I put Annabelle on the floor with her bottle, with the other kids eating breakfast and watching Sesame Street, while I went upstairs to take a shower. I came back down to this! Buggy had crawled into the living room and had found some new fun toys. We officially have a crawler...usually just an army crawl...getting faster by the minute! Later that day she found the toilet paper! I'll post videos soon.
