Brian turned 34 this year, the day after our 9th Anniversary. It's hard to celebrate an anniversary on a Tuesday so dinner at Wild Zuchinni (delicious!) was to celebrate both events. We also had birthday donuts and some presents to open. It was a very laid back birthday/anniversary but fun ones.

Anniversary Gift
Brian gave me this beautiful painting for our 3rd wedding anniversary. It's one of my favorites, that I have always wanted, called "Christ Healing the Sick at Bethesda" by Carl Bloch. It's big, gorgeous, and perfect for our stairwell which is where I've been telling Brian that I wanted a copy of this painting to be, since we moved into our house! This isn't the best picture of it (Brian was just measuring for where I want it hung) so I'll be sure to post a pic when it gets hung.Tuesday, June 13, 2006
Brian's 26th Birthday and Our 1 Year Anniversary!

Brian turned 26 on Sunday!! This is a cute picture of him blowing out the candles on his birthday cake. We actually had a little "get together" with some friends a few days before his birthday to have cake and ice cream. It was really fun. I'm going to let Brian post about what we did on his birthday because he was really excited about it...
Our anniversary was fun too. We slept in, went to Seven Peaks for a little bit. (Brian won season passes from his work for us.) Then we went and did a session at the temple and to dinner at this awesome restaurant called Tuscany. We stayed at a hotel just across the street from temple square so after dinner, we dropped our stuff off there and went walking around temple square. (The picture is a little bit dark...Sorry.) We really enjoyed our first wedding anniversary. It's kind of funny how it seems like we've known each other forever, but like we just got married at the same time!

1 Year!
Tonight Brian and I celebrated our 1 year dating anniversary. Tomorrow, Nov. 6, will be one year since our first date. I can't believe it's been that long already! I still remember everything about it...Even what I was wearing! To celebrate we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner which is where we went with a big group of people last year. Then we went to a movie with our friends Steve and Audrey. It was a fun night.
